Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Can you access Informix files which were copied from the
UNIX system and put on an Win95 hard drive?
We are in the process of migrating a proprietary
Informix-based application from Unix to our NT platform.
The entire system, including the UNIX box, is an unknown
quantity to the in-house staff, so we FTP'd the dat, idx,
and h files off the UNIX box and onto my local hard drive.
The Informix ODBC drive insists on having information like
Server and Host which are no longer applicable (I tried
telnetting into myself and failed).
