Looking at the IBM webiste it seems to have been withdrawn on 31st December.
I recall that some people complained that, on inspection of the fine print,
the offer was somewhat restrictive but I can't recall the specifics.
I do remember participating in a small focus group last summer with one of
Paul Watson's colleagues and IBM about the possibility of extending the
offer to EMEA: in the end IBM found it impossible to surmount the various
bureaucratic problems.
