Recently I encountered similar such problem on INFORMIX 5.01. Whether my
approach was right on track, I am not Sure. But I got rid of that Null Table.
In ISQL,
SELECT tabname FROM systables WHERE tabnam is NULL;
Then I created Form for Table : systables and manually assigned a dummy
table name to that null table name.
DROP TABLE <dummy table name>;
After I dropped the table, everything was back to normal.
May be U can give a try.
