Tom: I tried direct email, but your host doesn't seem to be known to the ddn system we use. Where's your comment line and your error line on the screen? I'd guess that your comment line is doing the damage. The COMMENTS line is cleared whenever a field is entered that has no COMMENTS -- it has to be to ensure that the previous field's comments are not displayed for the current field. If my memory serves me aright, the default comment line is LAST - 1, or line 23 on a 24 line screen.
