} From: hsasaki@shellx.best.com (Harold Sasaki) } I'm trying to query a table, but my syntax is not working. Here's } what I'm trying to do: Select all fields where a serial is a certain } number and a field does not match a certain string. } } select * from table where serial = "1" and status not matches "killed" } } Doesn't work for me. Neither does != } } Thanks for any help I hope the columns are not actually called serial and status... reserved(ish) words - dont ya know... try tabname.serial tabname.status if they are... BTW != should work, as should <> I would avoid the matches if you can.
