Also if you have a text pager you can email to <pin#>@YourPagerCo.com and the mail message will appear on our pager. Most pager companies support this email, though some will require that you call them to emable your mail account at their mail server (very few charge for this extra access they are just too lazy to set everyone up unless you ask).
