Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

What software, either developed inhouse or shrinkwrapped, are Informix
database product users employing with applications for security
purposes? We are trying to design and implement some kind of additional
security for database access that goes beyond (or even avoids the
pitfalls of) object-level privileges/roles, perhaps similar to the
login/password scheme that *racle uses for its SQLPlus & Server Manager
shells. What have others been using? Are you using encryption? Is
security even a concern?
