Error (-254) with PB and Informix

Some time ago, I saw some messages entittled "The truth about I-net" that addressed -254 problems with PowerBuilder and Informix. Unfortunately, The disk on which I saved the messages crashed. I have an app running at a client site. Using PB 4.0.2 and Informix Online version 5. At random intervals, they get a -254 error, on a simple retrieve. Does anyone know how to solve the problem, or where the messages to which I refer are? Thanks, Bill MacLean
