Dear all, Can anyone enlighten me on how to backup or restore tables besides performing load/onload everytime ? Is there a new tool or s/w (such as Legato, Omnibackup,...) that can do this ? Appreciate your reply. Thank you. -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own
You should be so lucky. About the best way to do this (assuming you can afford to do so) is to put high-risk tables in their own dbspaces. You can then do a dbspace-level backup/restore. RI throws a lot of that out the window, though, depending on how tightly integrated the table is. williamkcwong@yahoo.com wrote in message <7dbrqb$21k$1@nnrp1.dejanews.com>... >Dear all, > >Can anyone enlighten me on how to backup or restore tables besides >performing load/onload everytime ?
