After moving a large ESQL/C application from SE to OnLine 7.1,
I found that queries of the form
select * into :blah from foo where id = :x
where id is the primary key of the table,
were executing very slowly (like about 100X slower than SE).
Fooling around for a while, I found that writing it as
select * into :blah from foo where id <= :x and id >= :x
performed fast (roughly same as SE).
Any ideas what's going on here?
