Have you tried it or are you just guessing?
Thanks,

I've tried it. I've been using various beta for a couple of months,
and the final 6.0 for a week and a half. (Betas 5.8.4 and earlier
lacked the necessary open-files patches).
Using soctcp fails on SuSE 6.1 the last time I saw it tried... dunno
when they'll supply pertinent patches like they did for 6.0.
