onbar performance

IDS 7.31.UD5 and 7.31.UC6 on SCO UnixWare 7.1.1 Can any of you give me an indication of speeds writing to disk and tape with onbar? I have onbar working ok, backing up and restoring without any problems, but it seems a little on the slow side. Backing up to tape is reporting at approximately 15 Mb/s whereas writing to disk is reporting at anywhere between 1 and 5 Mb/s. I can appreciate it varying a little when writing to disk, due to other disk activity, but it doesn't seem to make much sense that writing to disk is many times slower than writing to tape. I'd appreciate someone making sense of this for me, and what write speeds other people are experiencing to both tape and disk.
