Oracle: Army Standard???

>question may arise, why change? Well, performance and standardization (we >are told that Oracle will become the Army standard) primarily plus a dash >of personal preference on the part of many to go with Oracle. After hearing from several people regarding this statement, I think that a little clarification is in order. This is a RUMOR that has come down from people in our organization that have attended meetings at CAS (Common Army Software). There is a sort of Defacto standard in this theater that Oracle has become the favored DBMS for new development. Hope that this clarifies things.
