Running lots of instances on one HP

Hi, I have been asked to try to get 26 (!) instances of Informix running on an HP K460 (HPUX10.20) Does anybody have any experience with large numbers of instances running on one machine, and what of values I should have for all the kernel settings (the one in the release notes do not appear to be sufficient). Are there any other things that I should be aware of while running (what seems to be) such a large number of instances. (Apart from the logistical nightmare!!!!) Cheers for any ideas! James BTW: I currently have 16 instances running OK....

As long as the sum total of all of the shared segments doesn't exceed 1.75 Gbytes, it should in theory work. You are probably using the worst HW/OS combo for doing the kind of thing you desire however.
