Ask NCR (or whoever suppplies you with MP-RAS); they should be able to say whether 2.3 executables will run on 3.2, and whether that will be Y2K-safe or not. If you have radically different version numbers (eg 4.x to 7.x) then you'll need to recompile. If they're practically the same (eg 7.20.UD1 to 7.20.UD4) then you probably don't.
