I believe you first have to install IDS on the Mac...
I actually have it running. A lot of installation issues - nothing
that a seasoned Informix DBA (not even a guru) can't handle, but
definitely more than your typical Mac user can handle. Hopefully they
will fix those soon, otherwise it will all be for nothing.
And the #1 problem: TERM is set to a non-existent value. Set it to
xterm.

Which version did you try? IDS 11.50.xC1 or IDS 11.50.xC2?
