Can DBAccess display more that 80 cols
Posted in 1998
Hi all, I have a select statement I am running from DBAccess at the UNIX command line, the select statement is more that 80 Columns, is there a way to instruct DBAccess to print this in the single line format verses record by record? On that note, is there a way to make the following columns smaller, i.e. Count(*), sum(pe_size), ti_nextsiz I attempted to use the trunc(sum(pe_size),-4) hoping for #### column width, this did not work! This is the select statement I am working with: select dbsname[1,10], tabname[1,15], count(*) num_ext, ti_fextsiz fir_size, ti_nextsiz nxt_size, sum(pe_size) tot_size from systabnames, sysptnext, systabinfo where partnum = pe_partnum and partnum = ti_partnum group by 1, 2, 4, 5 order by 1, 3 desc, 2; TIA, John E.
