Hello listers, I'm sorry to go off on a tangent, but I could get help nowhere else. We have the OnLine Work Group Server Version 7.2.UC2 for Solaris 2.5.1. We have a client/server application that uses tables from the informix OWS. We will need to write some applications in Visual Fox Pro 5.0 for Windows95 that wil access information from these informix tables. We have installed on the Windows95 clients, the Informix-CLI 2.5 ODBC Driver. I need some "How to" help in coding the format for ODBC calls to an informix database on a LAN server and on a remote server using Visual Fox Pro. If you can't help me with the specifics using VFP 5.0, then perhaps you could use Visual Basic code instead, if not, then perhaps you could provide the general guidelines for using ODBC to connect to informix databases.
