Off the top of my head (at home, no manuals): dbschema -ss (server specific) info (IN DBSPACE, etc);also can get data distribution from dbschema; parallel dbload; onarchive (backup/restore); many more parameters for tuning; onstat has many more things it can monitor; oncockpit/onprobe (x windows based online monitoring with alarms, etc); > Does dbload support binary source data yet? No idea. > Does 7.1 have parallel backup, other than running multiple > concurrent tbunloads? Yep, onarchive can allegedly support all this - as well as backing/restoring at dbspace level, unattended backups, etc. It's a swine to use, compared to ontape, tho'. (The old ease of use/power curve, I suppose! :) It has been alleged that this is being replaced by "onbar", supposed to be more friendly. HTH.
