Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

There are two things that could possibly be causing you problems.1)
There could be data integrety problems with the dump. Some thing you
can do is in your export sql code do a global search for all date and
time columns and from there do some data integrety searchs in those
tables using these columns.
2) The Informix utility dbimport is a very picky utility and can not be
trusted. Even though the manuals say some items may be optional like
buffering preferences and dbspace specifications these should always be
used allong with any other parameter and element your dbimport can use
with the database. I have been burned twice not using all the optional
elements with dbimport with my database.
Good luck! The dbexport and import utilities are tricker than you would
expect.
