disable triggers - update stats

hello all i have disabled a few triggers on production - is it necessary to run update stats on the table the trigger was pointing to? i realize it is not something that would be any means hurt things but is it necessary or highly recommended? thanks, tom

not required...triggers mean nothing to update stats
