select without indexes?

I am doing a two table join and I want to know if there is a way I can get informix 7.23 not to use the indexes. The reason is because I know that the join will return close to 100% of the rows so I want to see if the dynamix hash join might be faster than using the index. Is there any way to tell informix not to use the index?
