Informix 4gl best practices

Hi, I am looking for a checklist of recommended best practices in INFORMIX 4gl programming. We do have a list of do's and don'ts in our organization examples being (1) Create temp tables with NOLOG (2) checking requirement of indexes with SET EXPLAIN etc. But is there any comprehensive list of industry / Informix recommended best practices?
