Item 1:
You will need to recompile with I4GL 6.0x rather than using the 4.1x
version. If you do not do this, then you will (a) have to set
SQLEXEC=sqlrm and (b) expect very poor performance from the old
programs.
Item 2:
The I4GL products are always released in pairs of versions, one for
Family 4, one for Family 6, and version 4.1x is released at the same
time as version 6.0y, where x = y + 2 (eg: 6.00 and 4.12, 6.01 and
4.13, etc).
Item 3:
The differences in the INPUT statement should be generic to both 4.1x
6.0y. That is, any changes are (theoretically) fixes to the behaviour
of INPUT, and not differences between the two versions. It is a little
more complex than that because there are some minor changes in the way
internationalized data is validated, but most people should not notice
these.
