7.x, determining a unix process from a session/thread

Could anyone tell me how to determine what process (the unix process) is associated with a particular thread and/or session (probably the same thing)? With earlier versions of Online, you could detect what executable was tied to an sqlturbo (or sqlexec, I guess) because both the executable and the turbo were unix processes. However, with 7.1, the threads are internal to the engine, if I understand correctly. With onstat and onmonitor you can determine some information about each thread, but I haven't figured out yet how to determine what user process is tied to that thread. Can anyone give a hint?
