C-ISAM Question (pls. help)

Hi All, I currently have a problem with datarecords disappearing in a C-ISAM file I sure(almost) that the problem is in our programs, but I have this question. According to the C-ISAM manual only the delete_flag should be touched when deleting a record. In my files it seems that the whole record is null'ified. Is this correct or is it a feature in our C-ISAM.
