Re: Please let the net know

To all informix-list readers... I was asked to forward this message to the list. So here 'tis: Quoting Dave Kosenko... } } Dave: } } As you post fairly regularly to comp.databases.informix, perhaps } you'd be so kind as to inform the group at large that it seems } postings made by informix folks have not been making their way out } into the world recently (perhaps you could confirm that for me - I } have confirmations from some other folks that at least *my* postings } to other newsgroups have not been seen). Our postings do show up } locally, and I have read any number by the usual crowd in response } to various issues that have come up. I fear the lack of propogation } will be seen by the net community as informix ignoring them, which } is certainly not the case, at least in regards to our usual crowd } of posters. I'm currently in the process of trying to track down } the person responsible for our net access in an effort to correct } the problem (it's start seems to correspond suspiciously with our } newly-acquired internet connection, which leads me to suspect that } a proper 2-way feed was not established when the feed was changed). } Hopefully, it can be corrected without too much hassle. } } Thanks, } Dave Kosenko } Informix Software, Inc. } DAS -- David Snyder @ Snide Computer Services - Folcroft, PA Current Release is db4glgen-3.17 UUCP: ..!uunet!das13!dave INTERNET: dave@das13.snide.com
