There is no solution, except an enormous if statement. We raised this issue with the first release of 5.0. As far as I am aware nothing as been done about it in either 6.0 or 7.0. By the way does anyone know whether the bug in SPL, which makes an outer join run as an inner join, has been fixed in any release yet?
