Sybase Applications Engineer Responsibilities: Port Sybase RDBMS, tools and applications to IRIX environment. Tune ports to have industry leading performance. Work with SGI OS engineering to effect changes to the OS that enhance Sybase performance on the Challenge architecture. Will work 50 - 70% of the time on site at Sybase. Education/Experience: BSCS or equivalent required, MS preferred, with 10+ years industry experience with Unix, C and relational databases.
