Hello everyone, My questions are regarding Macintosh access to Informix databases residing on a SUN SparcServer 1000 running SunOS 5.4 . We use the Informix 5.0 engines and will be transitioning to 7.1 engines. We currently access Informix from Macs in a few ways: - NCSA/BYU or Comet (telnet) session - MacX (xterm) session - A/UX (telnet) session Question1: Does anyone have advice on accessing Informix from a Macintosh client? (other than DSQL mentioned in the Informix FAQ, or those mentioned above) Question2: Is there a better method for providing Macintosh client access to Informix databases than ISQL/4GL on terminal sessions? Question3: What about GUI development on the Mac? How are developers dealing with GUI development on their Mac clients? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks! ---- Paul Acosta email: paul@oncology.uthscsa.edu Univ. of Texas Health Science Center phone: (210) 567-4763 San Antonio, TX 78284-7884 USA FAX: (210) 567-6687
