OnBar - BAR_BSALIB_PATH setting

Hi All. My client site is in Brisbane, Australia. We are on 7.30.UC9 of IDS for Workgroups for HP-UX11.0. The file $INFORMIXDIR/ism/ISMVersion says that the version of ISM we are using is ISM.2.20.UC1.114 (if that helps!). I am trying to get OnBar working. I am sending backups to a 4mm DAT and logs to hard disk. The backup phase is working fine, be it the archive or the logging. I am having troubles restoring, but this is not what I'm asking about! Three questions. (1). Informix Tech. Support in Sydney have sent me an e-mail saying that BAR_BSALIB_PATH should be an environment variable, NOT an oconfig file setting. This, in my understanding, totally contradicts any of the doco. I have read in Answers On Line 2.2. Or the release notes by the way. Does anyone have any clear answers on this one ? (2). This question is specific to this environment. I asked Tech. Support this question THREE times, and still no straight answer! The release notes do not make it entirely clear which shared library file is to be used in connecting OnBar to ISM for this release. I have been using /usr/lib/libbsa.sl. I think this is right, but it would be nice to get clear confirmation of this. (3). This may be a corollary to (2). The directory structure under /nsr is being duplicated under $INFORMIXDIR/ism, eg. /nsr/applogs/xbsa.messages is an identical copy of $INFORMIXDIR/ism/xbsa.messages. Is this usually the case ?
