US-FL C++ and Informix positions

PERFORMANCE Software Services, Inc. is dedicated to the object-oriented market. We are headquartered in Florida, and are hiring expertise on a nationwide basis to develop our business in the major metro centers throughout the country. Our team of highly skilled professionals assist companies in the move to the OO paradigm. The services we offer include mentoring, contract programming, and remote development. We have also begun initial work on a specialized training curriculum targeted at helping clients with their "first" project. We are currently focusing our efforts largely in the smalltalk arena and have business partnerships with a number of the major suppliers to include ParcPlace-Digitalk. Most recently we have made a decision to develop a business practice around Informix. Fueled by their new object-oriented development tool New Era and their move to providing OODBMS capabilities in the Informix database engine, we feel they will emerge as one of the true leaders in object orientation. The ideal candidate would have the following background - several yrs of experience w/ Informix (either with the database engine or with the app development tools) - strong C or C++ experience - an interest in developing depth in OO development If this sounds interesting we would like to hear from you.
