Re: NewEra Screen Shots?

For manuals and other needs we simply hit Alt-PrintScrn. The currently active window is saved to the clipboard as a bitmap. (PrintScrn alone will save the whole screen.) Now start any application where you can past in a bitmap (such as MS Word). You can now print it, or use it in your manuals directly. There is no more direct way of sending the content to the printer. There is a program called CLIPBRD.EXE (on Windows NT - it may have another name on other versions) where you can view the content of the clipboard, save it to a file and do some other more or less usefull stuff. All this assumes you are on some MS Windows platform. If you should be on Motif there ought to be a similar key. If not you could run an X-Windows emulator on a PC and use the above functionallity. billy@west.co.za (Billy Wheeler) wrote: :> Does anyone know of a quick and easy way to have the user click a button :> in a NewEra application causing a dump of the current NewEra screen to sent :> to the default printer?
