I would recommend moving to 9.4. If you have to move its better to be on a newer release. The support curve will be longer. Catch a look at the release notes and known bugs that might be important to you. Also, if you email this group with information about the sorts of problems you have experienced with 7.3 and your particular environment you might get a more useful answer.
