Our remote server (Altos) is running Informix 6.0 and we are attaching from Informix 7.22. It seems Informix 6.0 does not use the parameter USERS any more. Of course I checked the usage of the remote server and, as I said, there are no more than about 10 users on Altos, so this message should not appear. Shared memory is initialized, otherwise I would not be able to attach at all. I did read TFM. Regards, Kai
