Re: changying from ANSI mode to unbuffered logging

With unbuffered logging, "BEGIN WORK" and "COMMIT WORK" are required to execute a transaction. In contract, "BEGIN WORK" is not needed in ANSI logging. In addition, the isolation default value for unbuffered logging is COMMITTED READ while the isolation default for ANSI mode database is REPEATABLE READ. One more note to Online 7.x, the default for LOCK MODE is NOT WAIT. Serina. Standard disclaimers apply.
