As you can see, the fields cr,cr_date,post are not a part of the table "case." My qusetion is this: Inside of my application, I am trying to determine the value of "post" and call some function if it is true. My code looks like this: INPUT BY NAME <fieldlist> WITHOUT DEFAULTS AFTER FIELD p.post IF p.post = 'Y' THEN CALL xyz() END IF At the top of the program, "post" is define as such: DEFINE p RECORD ... ... post CHAR(1) END RECORD When I try to compile this, it bombs at the "AFTER FIELD" with a syntax error. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks Leon. kleon@osf1.gmu.edu
