Dbimport of an NT-dbexport fails on Solaris box

Hi, is there a known problem concerning importing dbexports to a Solaris box which were exported from an NT box? One of our clients has an NT box (NT4, SP3, OnLine 7.23.TC9) and he did a dbexport to tape. We wanted to import the data on our Solaris box (Solaris 2.6, OnLine 7.24.UC3) and get a read tape error? Is this a hardware problem (the streamer of the client's NT box was already changed and our streamer is almost new and we have no problems with it besides this one)? I think that this way of exporting/importing should be possible - if not, please tell me! And: I still want to know, if there any major bugs in OnLine versions 7.30+ which we should avoid or better: which versions of Informix OnLine for both OS's Solaris and NT can you recommend?
