The only information I have got is the documents available on Informix Web site. I would strongly suggest you contact someone at informix. They have an entire support team for XPS alone. Do you know what are features of Metacube Aggregator and of Metacube Warehouse Manager, those products limits, Informix Online version I need to install these products on an HP-UX 10.x platform ? Does a HP-UX 9.04 version exist ? No clue on this one.. What are XPS advantages against Online-DSA ? Briefly, XPS (extended parallel server) runs across clusters you could run it on a single node machine but that doesn't make sense to me. It is designed to handle huge amounts of data > 700Gb. Advantages - speed, fragmentation strategy, scalability. What do migration from one product to the other one involve ? A complete unload and reload of your database. (not to mention the purchase of a cluster - no small investment) Does a HP-UX 9.04 version exist ? No clue - call informix. Don't hesitate to answer, every single piece of information can be helpful. Before you jump into this one, get someone on your staff or a consultant from infmx to help you, you are talking about a pretty major task here. jim
