Right method just not documented by Informix. Look in Online Dynamic
Server Admin. Guide Volume 2 Page 39-8. It lists the table which are
documented. This does not include systhreads or systcblst.
This note on the bottom of the page says "Many other tables in the
sysmaster database are part of the system monitoring interface but are
not documented. Their schemas and column content might change from
release to release."
it assume there as a column in systcblst which is tid (the thread id)
try matching this column to the output of onstat -g ath (all threads).
