How to create database with specific DB_LOCALE ?

Hello,
I hope someone can help me with this issue.
We use Informix Server Administrator (ISA) to maintain our Informix
server instances. Databases are created with SQL statement "CREATE
DATABASE" from ISA normally. This works fine as long the default
DB_LOCALE is used.
Now we need to create a database with a specific DB_LOCALE.
I know the environment variable DB_LOCALE needs to be set before the
database will be created when dbaccess is used, but how to do with ISA ?
Regards ...
Joerg
Just include the desired env var into ISA's isacfg file, section of your server, like so:
INFORMIXSERVER ol10_test
INFORMIXDIR c:\\informix\\10
ONCONFIG onconfig.$INFORMIXSERVER
DB_LOCALE de_de.8859-1
END
This doesn't require a server restart and will provide the environment for any SQL and other commands issued through ISA untill
you change it to anything else.
HTH,
Andreas
