Re: Online 7 with previously installed Informix SQL with Online 6

You can't do this. You have to install ISQL with Online 7 as it has to reside in the same directory. You can't append the old informix/bin directory. This of course means you have to install ISQL first in a new (informix) directory and than reinstall OnLine 7 in the same directory to get your installs in the right order. This bussiness of allways having to install in the right order is *s o s t u p i d* and would have been reasonably simple for Informix to fix. As they haven't done it over all these years, i wouldn't expect them to do anything about it now.
