Informix on Linux install

So I found the informix download and got that off the FTP server. Unzipped the thing and found the readme file in the SE directory. I figured the readme file would have the install instructions, but no. It says follow the normal install procedures found in your product install guides. YAA RIGHT !!!! Pocked around on the web site for 15 minutes, finally found the Installation guide for unix (4352.pdf). Is this the correct doc for Linux or am I looking in all the wrong places?
