NewEra 2.0 under WIndows 95 - Desparate

Wea are desparately trying to get New Era 2.0 runtime to run under Windows 95. The development package will stay under Windows 3.11 for now, but it is essential for the deployment package to run under Windows 95 so that we can implement dial-in networking. Here's what we have observed: If we install New Era under Windows 3.11 and then upgrade the PC to Windows 95, New Era 2.0 runs fine. If we install New Era 2.0 fresh under a new Windows 95 installation, then 2 out of five times launching a New Era application will hang the application and show up as "not Responding" in the task menu. I suspect that there must be a way to configure the environment that New Era 2.0 is running under so that it feels more like Windows 3.11, but we haven't figured out quite how. Has anyone gotten this to work reliably??? HELP! -Devan -- --------------------------------------- Devan F. Dewey Manager of Technology Services Segue Software dewey@segue.com
