I-net's slowness is NOT (I repeat, NOT) a : problem on the server side!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : I-net for windows version 5.01.WC1 has a CONFIRMED bug in it. It seems that : the wonderfull programers at Informix left the debugging option for FTP on : when they went from developement to production. Yes, Thank you. INet 5.01 is buggy and 5.02 is the version we need. But, if you look carefully at my original post, I'm not addressing the issue of INet being sloooow, but is in fact talking about sqlturbo process not killed when the front end has rebooted!!! Now, that is a server problem. So far, nobody has replied or followed up on this issue, I don't know why. Perhaps I'm missing the point and that things should be as it is happening, which I'm not too happy about.
