List Inernet Address and Crystal Reports with Roles

Can Crystal Reports select the data from an Informix DB that only use's Informix 7 Roles to view or update data? I'm hearing from our programmers that the "Set Role" command is not working for them with Crystal Reports. My first suggestion was for them to USE the Informix ODBC drivers, since surly these driver understand Informix's non-standard ANSI SQL statements like "SET ROLE". Has anyone gotten this to work? Also I know there has been some discussion on the "BEST REPORTING" tool to use with Informix DB's. I would like to review those list discussion. Is there an easy way to search the list via the NET? I.E, what is an Internet Address for this list that would allow me to search on a string on those items posted to this list?
