--------------C064AA6EE2CF3D83DF1E7337 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hello all, We have set-up, and are currently testing, our Informix High-Availabilty Data Replication using two servers (primary and secondary). So far, we have successfully tested creating dbspaces, databases, loading and updating data. However, we cannot seem to replicate BLOBS from our primary to our secondary server. Informix books explain that "modifications to data within blobspaces are not replicated as part of normal high availability data-replication processing. Only TEXT or BYTE data within dbspaces is replicated". We would like to know if there is a work-around to this limitation and if there is none, is there another method to replicate these databases to another server? BTW, we are using Informix version 7.30 and 7.31. -- Regards, -- Arnel Cueto -- acueto@apme-ops.dhl.com --------------C064AA6EE2CF3D83DF1E7337 Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
Hello all,
We have set-up, and are currently testing, our Informix High-Availabilty Data Replication using two servers (primary and secondary). The simplest workaround is to move your blob data into a dbspace.
