many databases with the same name

Hi Forum, We've been using Informix SE for many years and are starting to move to IDS11. For our inhouse development and testing, we have setup many databases, one per customer. All these DBs have the same name, because we have a lot of 4GL programs, and 4GL needs the DB name to be statically defined in the source code at compile time. So we run 1 SE server and when we want to connect to a particular customer DB we set our DBPATH to the directory where their DB resides. This works well for SE, by it seems that IDS uses DBPATH differently; rather, it holds a series of server names that the client will connect to should the primary server be offline. So, to use IDS in this manner (many databases, same name), it seems that I am going to have to run 1 server for each database, which won't scale very well, given we have many customers.
