Your subject says "with VB4.0". Do you mean how to use an Access database from VB 4.0? If so you are in the wrong group and realy need to RTFM. If you mean how to get data from an access database into an Informix database: Alternative 1: Unload data from Access to flat files. Move the data to the machine where your Informix database is. Load the data using dbload or some other utility. Alternative 2: Install an ODBC driver on your PC that can access the Informix database. Start up Access. Transfer the data via ODBC. You may simply connect to a table in the Informix database and copy the data into it, or use one of several other options in Access.
