Compile Errors with I4GL version 6.05 UD5

We've upgraded from 7.24 UC1 to 7.24 UC5, and it was recommended by Informix to do the I4GL upgrade from 6.05 UD2 to 6.05 UD5 so that it would work properly with the engine. Since doing so, source code isn't working correctly as described in the following examples. Basically, the double "||" pipe symbols aren't correctly appearing in the code's output. The programmer was then told to try compiling on the old version (6.05 UD2) which did work correctly on 7.24 UC5 of the engine. Does anyone have any ideas? Also, we occasionally receive errors outlined in number 4 below, but not always. Thanks in advance for any insight! Matt Prokop 1.
